The following trainings organized during the implementation of the ADB TA 8855 MON: Country Water Security Assessment (March-July 2016):
- Methodologies for estimation of the five key dimensions of the water security,
- Use of excel sheets to estimate indexes and indicators of key dimensions,
- Use of the self-assessment benchmarking methodology developed by the Network of River Basin Organization to achieve high performance in organizations responsible for management of river basins.
These training provided benefits to :
- 137 participants from the Lake Buuntsagaan Baidrag River Basin Administration and local government organizations,
- 96 participants from the Kherlen River Basin Administration and local government organizations,
- 43 participants from the Galba Uush Dolood Gobi River Basin Administration and local government organizations,
- 49 participants from the Lake Khar-Us Khovd River Basin Administration and local government organizations,
- 256 participants from all 29 River Basin Administration and relevant ministries including Ministry of Environment and Tourism during the National Forum on River Basin Administrations held in Ulaanbaatar, 26-28 May 2016.
